Steve Goddard
“I invented a world that I could fall into and it saved me”
Born 1959, London where he still lives and works. Goddard has a singular, highly personal vision. Self taught he used art as a means of escape, “I invented a world that I could fall into and it saved me.” His subjects are his childhood obsessions and heroes, created from an array of materials; horsehair, bread, lego, found objects, whatever is to hand at that singular moment. Goddard has exhibited internationally over the past 35 years winning numerous awards.
